DownMagic ("we", "us") operates downmagic.com. We collect as little personal data as possible and you do not need an account to use the service.

1. What we process • Media you upload or import: processed temporarily to perform the conversion or download you requested. Files are stored in a temporary working area with random names and deleted automatically within minutes. Download links expire. We do not keep permanent copies and we do not build a library or history of your media. • Technical data: your IP address and basic request metadata, processed transiently for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention. • Audio sent for transcription: if you use the transcription tool, the audio is split into fragments and sent to Cloudflare's Workers AI platform, which returns the text. It is processed only to produce your transcript and is not sent anywhere else. Neither the audio nor the transcript is kept by us once you have downloaded it. • Consent choice: a single cookie records whether you accepted or rejected advertising cookies.

2. Legal basis (GDPR) We rely on legitimate interest to keep the service secure and to provide what you request, and on your consent for advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time (see the Cookie Policy).

3. Advertising Advertising is provided by Monetag. When ads are enabled and you consent, Monetag may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own privacy policy. If you reject, non-essential advertising cookies are not loaded.

4. Retention Media files and their download links are deleted automatically shortly after processing. Transient technical data used for rate limiting expires within minutes to hours.

5. Your rights Under the GDPR/UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, and to data portability. Because we store almost no personal data and delete media automatically, most requests are already satisfied by that automatic deletion. Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights. 6. Service providers and international transfers The service is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany (EU), and most media processing takes place there. We also rely on: • Cloudflare, Inc. — speech-to-text for the transcription tool. Audio fragments are sent to its Workers AI platform and processed under Cloudflare's own terms and privacy policy. • Monetag — advertising, as described in section 3. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else. Where data leaves your country it is protected by appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where these apply.

7. Children The service is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. Do not use it if you are under that age.
